Sadly some providers wont accept mail from hosts without a reverse DNS and since I can't get one it will not work unless we use some paid service. Luckily there arent many of them around, so far I've identified three (t-online.de, bigpond.com, gmx.net).
The bigger ones, like gmail and hotmail, as well as *many* others accepts mail from 'non-reverseble-IPs' if they are correct and uses SPF and DKIM.

In your case GCRaistlin, since you use gmail, I don't know why you don't receive them. In the maillogs I can see that they are delivered to gmail:
(Apr 4 00:08:04 hp400 postfix/smtp[150592]: 2B0112002003: to=<XXXXXX@gmail.com>, relay=gmail-smtp-in.l.google.com[74.125.131.26]:25, delay=1.3, delays=0.01/0.06/0.38/0.8, dsn=2.0.0, status=sent (250 2.0.0 OK 1712182084 h14-20020a05651211ce00b00516c882b6d6si95148lfr.615 - gsmtp))

GMail is notoriously paranoid and manic depressive what comes to incoming email. I get the notification emails all right, but I have a forwarding email address whose messages just disappear into thin air sometimes. Sometimes the exact same message comes through without any issues.

Email notifications are back since I wrote my last post. Before that, there were no notifications for almost a month:

I didn't visit the forum for a long time before that (for more than a month).

Good, we'll close this then.
And, I might have found a way to send mails to the domains I talked about (t-online.de, bigpond.com, gmx.net) by relaying just those to a free smtprelay by using postfix transport. Let's see if this works. The reason I can't use that relay for all mails is just that we're sending too many mails per month to use the free plan.
