video capture cards

Hello every one. I am new here and need a little help. I am looking for a better than average caputre card and need some advice. Mostly going to be recording from cable.

i am running

XP1700
384 pc133
2x 30 gigs 7200 rpm's
ati radeon 7500

If Cable has Composit out then lot's to select from.

If only TV out then TY tuner card, and capturing uncompressd is your best bet.
