Lots of possibilities.
List your entire hardware + software chain Then load a video where you see the green tint into MPC + Madvr, pause movie, PRESS, Ctrl-J, Take a screen shot of the OSD readout.

Dumb question but... have you considered that maybe VLC is the one doing something wrong with the colours and you are so used to it that anything else looks weird ?
Just asking, cause that wouldn't be a first |

it supposed to make FSE less exclusive and more like WFS. using it can have all kinds of effects. from massively improving performance in some games and system to literally breaking presentation. my HTPC starts to flicker like crazy with it disabled my desktop works flawless with it and FSE changes are faster. so in short use it at your own risk. |

I hope I'm getting this down a little better now. I have had to make some comprimises and tinkering to the profile selections. I had them as blasted as possible on the 1080 and it really does use some processing power at the end of the day, so it's just been going through recommendations and trying to get it as natural while still keeping the quality that I want. I just can't believe the 1660ti isn't doing quite as much as I thought it might. I am actually kind of disappointed with it at this point. I doing that "blasting" of settings on a 1050. Even though it was on a 1080p resolution I was still able to use pretty maximum settings, where this one I'm having to compromise and tinker. And don't even get me started on the whole drivers deal going on that I've had the joy of experiencing once starting with this card.

I think it has to do with the fact that madvr relies on the # of cuda cores, more so than Overall card performance.
So while 1660ti would be ~ 1070/1080, those cards still have higher cuda count . I'm not sure. just guessing.

Anyone ever hear of getting lag/stutter but 0 dropped, 0 repeated(other than every 5 mins or so), 0 delayed, 0 glitches in osd while using Madvr display matching? Mainly happens with 23.975 content. Setting windows power option to "power saver" cures it, but this is not a solution. I'd like to give up on this but I have tried every setting I can think of.

I tried the profileinspector. I loaded MPC hit apply and no different. Also ran the bat file for nvidia.

Madvr requires gpu card so the chance of someone having an answer is higher than elsewhere. Gpu card isn't a must for lav filter. |

Yes I already run in fse, I have tried all options including all in general settings. BTW this happens not only with 4k content but also 1080 content. Tried all decoder options too in lav. Tried old drivers.
I get smooth playback if: Windows power setting is set to Power Saver every single time without a doubt This is a big indication. Settings do nothing, this is backed by the osd results that do not show any issues with drops repeats, queues, etc, all show fine. Could the hdmi port on the card be sending something like too much power to the display? So the display is freaking out? Thats why power saver fixes it by lowering something? (FYI I have gone out and tried 2 brand new 2070s and brand new PSU, same result)
