american pie 2

has anyone ripped the r2 of this.

I would like to keep most of the extras so is there anyway i can transcode the extras and the video?(other audio tracks can go.)

I used CCE to transcode the main movie, I think I ended up using a bitrate of about 2600kbps. Perfect quality. Then I used ReMPEG to transcode 'the baking of american pie 2' extra feature. Cut the size down to about 700 megs (can't remember the original size, something like 3 gigs). Not the greatest quality, but it's acceptable. Created the CCE DVD first, then remuxed the extra back into it with IFOEdit. Got a totally complete backup of the original DVD with all extra features and menus to fit onto 1 DVD-R. Now that's how it's done.

how did you reencode the movie, i mean, how did you get the movie out of te vob file?

same with ap2?
