Where to find HC v21 batch type?

The only version I find is the gui type, which rebuilder doen't recognize. Or is there a procedure I need?

Full installer comes with v.17, which i want to update to v.21.

Tried to remove old folder, then drag and drop the HC21 folder into the Encoders folder, but then in "Mode" I loose the HC option (fades out).

Download HC .21, in the zip you will have HCenc_021.exe, rename that HCbatch.exe.

You could also use the setup dialog and browse to the file without renaming it (on DVD-RB Pro) -- or you could change the path in the REBUILDER.INI file if you're using the freeware version.

that did it

thanks. changing the filename did the trick.

jdobbs: if you are referring to the general setup screen, there is no "path" line supplied for HCEnc.

That's because you are probably using the freeware version (rather than Pro)... in that case you have to modify the path in the REBUILDER.INI file (or add it) for "HC=".
