Freeware DVD Authoring Tools

If you are looking for powerfull FREE DVD Authroing tools then you might like to try out DVDPlanner or Muxman. Both applications offer a simple interface for creating basic DVDs.

DVDPlanner offers full menu suport via the UI. The next Muxman build will offer the same.

Both applications offer video and subtitle viewing capabilities.

More advanced features are also available that would require upgrade to the PRO versions (not Free)

Since I used to work on DVD Maestro I have never tried both of them. I like the subtitle previewing on DVD Maestro, so do the above programs provide the similar previews. Perhaps I will try it later, thanks!

Just installed DVD Planner, but can't execute. It said "This executable has been tampered with", what does it mean?

Both DVDPlanner and Muxman support PCM in a WAV container.

I try to surf to http://www.mpucoder.com
Access to all informative links (download, articles, etc) required pay of 5$ per 3 monthes.

I think, it is not correct to call Muxman "free" by now...

There is a free version of MuxMan, available here. All documentation for all versions of MuxMan is also free. The other areas are not related to MuxMan itself, but to DVD internals.
