Euh... are you crazy ?
I said that I'm not a selfish personn, not that the others are ! You have too much imagination... Some other people are much more agressive than me. And you will say that it's a kind of passive-aggressive personal attack... Try to base your judgement on objective elements, not your imagination please ! I'm not an insidious person. My problem is to be too honest ! And you want to censor this honesty ! Are we living in democracy or not ? |

Hello
I just want to say that finally I retained the script named "Continuum style" (Finally, it wasn't a bad idea to name them, because it's easy to remember I think ) When I compared to the other videos I made, I was surprised to find that it was the video of that script that I found the most natural. It's not the most extravagant script, or the better image, but it's really the more balanced and natural I think ! Here is the video : AviSynth script - Continuum style Playlist of all the videos of scripts : Test AviSynth scripts The posts with the scripts and the screenshots : Scripts for the videos of Super Nintendo games Scripts for the videos of PS1/PS2/PC games I just updated one thing for the Super Nes games with 8:7 aspect ratio ! I prefered to put this line : Quote:
Quote:
So the script for the games with 8:7 aspect ratio is : Quote:
I think, it reminds better the image of the original console, because it never was been thought to be displayed in an other aspect ratio than 4:3 I would say. So, It reminds better the feeling of the original games in 4:3 aspect ratio, but the aspect ratio is corrected in 8:7 with the Bicubic filter at the end to be displayed correctly (games like "Mr. Nutz", "Super Metroid" or "Super Mario World for example). This update isn't shown in the video or the screenshots. OK. So it's finished ! I won't bother you any more with my scripts ! Adios ! And thanks for your help ! Hi everybody ,
I know I already said 1 million times that it's the last time, I know it's not my blog, and I know I'm a bit crazy (when I re-read some of old posts, I know I reacted like an obsessed person, but I was, because I had a goal in my mind, and I'm perfectionist) ! ^_^ But just after my previous script, I did one that was quite acceptable for me and that I called "Forever style" But I won't hide from you that meanwhile, I created some other scripts, because I always ask myself if I can do better. But, this time, I always come back to this script that I will show you But sometimes, the only other script with I can hesitate is the one called "Vivid style", which looks more natural on my smartphone with the Super AMOLED screen. It's why I enhanced it too and called it "Revival style". Maybe I will post it too... ^_^ I know some people don't like the fact that I post all my new scripts, but when I think it's good, I can't keep this just for me. Sorry ! If one day there will be some other new scripts, I swear that I won't post them here ! But this time I really think that it will be the lasts, because I have the impression that I tried everything ! And I think I got the natural result that I wanted. It will be hard to do better for me. So, I will post them ! It looks almost like a PS1 3D game ! https://media.joomeo.com/original/5b719723ce32b.png I really think I should have taken this picture like reference for my tests ! Here is the original : https://media.joomeo.com/original/5b7197b669f7e.png If someone can do something better with this image, I stay open and listening Last edited by SuperLumberjack; 21st August 2018 at 17:37. |

And now, the PS1, PS2 and PC games !

As I said above, I enhanced a previous script called "Vivid style" too, and called it "Revival style"
I haven't done the screenshots and the video yet, so I couldn't post it. But it's done now ! The is no big differences with the "Forever style" script ! For me, it's 2 versions of a same script, my 2 lasts... The only difference is that I used the Bilinear filter instead of the xBRZ after the Spline16 resizer. If you compare the last pictures of "Mr. Nutz" and zoom in, maybe you won't see any difference. It's subtle ! (but there are differences, because the weight of the video files are heavier with the "Forever" script and the "Revival" a bit faster for encoding ^_^ ) The "Forever" script is a bit more dynamic and sharper, and the "Revival" is a bit more smooth and natural I think ! On my LCD screen, I prefered the "Forever" script, but on the Super AMOLED screen of my Samsung smartphone, I prefered the smoothness and the depth of the "Revival script" as I said above Because I use the Bilinear filter with the "Revival" script, I corrected the aspect ratio with it instead of the Spline16 filter, and go to a resolution multiple of the 1080p resolution with it too. But for the rest, it's almost identical as you will see ! Super Nes games with 8:7 aspect ratio upscaled to 2160p : (source resolution : 256x224 60 fps) Super Metroid https://media.joomeo.com/original/5b7c3cf058916.png Super Mario Bros. 2 https://media.joomeo.com/original/5b7c3d671d67d.png Mr. Nutz https://media.joomeo.com/original/5b7c441f6c7d0.png Quote:

In case you have not noticed - Nobody cares any more.
This thread is borderline spamming. Not to mention that it's been a monologue for the last 6+ weeks.

Just a question : have you an idea of what filter is used here ?
https://media.joomeo.com/original/5b7c53a62b202.png The screenshot comes from this video (720p) on YouTube : https://youtu.be/56LNqF6fL2s I watched a lot of videos of Super Nes games, and the videos of the guy were the only that I found interesting. It's the last thing that I would like to know ! I suppose that it's not an upscaled video, but a filter used in the emulator. I already asked him, but he answers something else... I think he didn't really undestand my strange question ! In any case, from the beginning, I knew exactly what I wanted, but I didn't know how to get this result ! (yes, it's for that that it was so long and tedious ! sorry ! but you know now that I had a vision ! ) My script called "Revival" is not so far from that : https://media.joomeo.com/original/5b7c451e6e4df.png By the way, isn't it impressive how it looks almost similar ? Coincidence ? I didn't know that it was so close. I notice that now, when I compare the two pictures So, I really know what I like ! But I don't know what picture is the best ! Maybe the relief of my picture is not as good as the first picture The screenshot from the video seems more natural and clean for me ! If I could get this with only one filter, it would be cool too ! But for the moment, I don't know how to do better ! Do you have an idea please ? What filter do you think it is ? Thanks for your help ! Last edited by SuperLumberjack; 21st August 2018 at 19:25. |

Why do you leave a comment if you don't care ? Time to lose ? ------------------------ Finally, I checked the result on the Super AMOLED screen of my smartphone, and I love the result of my last script, the "Revival style" ! It's perfect for me ! ;-) And I don't care about people who don't care ! But thanks to the people who helped me ! I only care about these people ! Goodbye ! That's because
But in all sincerity, my goal was honest ! (sorry for the repetition) I really had an idea in mind and yes, I tried compulsively many things. And when I thought the result was good, I just wanted to share, because it's in my nature to share This is not spamming, it's sharing ! But johnmeyer, have you ever tried to help me to achieve this goal ? I don't remember... I remember people who helped me ! Why people who never helped me decided to militate together to destroy this topic ? Together, could you help me to find the answer to this question please ? Quote:
The result is similar, but I would still like to know what filter this guy used ! If you could help me... please ! Thanks for your help ! I undestand that I reacted a bit like a maniac, but I always thought that I achieve the goal ! I just wanted to share ! But maybe I'm not on the good forums. Sorry ! |

When I said "But maybe I'm not on the good forums", that wasn't ironical ! I simply think it ! It's not an attack ! Maybe I didn't understand that it was the good place for that.

Yes, I am a noob !
But it would have been more interesting if more people have tried to participate to the game. Some people have proposed interesting things and I learned lots of things with them, even if I'm still a noob ! This was interesting for example : And this was : This was too (very) : And there were lots of other interesting things, like this function (thanks raffriff 42 ! that was really great ! I kept it somewhere !) : Quote:
So, with my stupidy, maybe some people learned new things, when you participated ! And maybe, I could have achieved my goal faster, and moved on quickly ! Sure that with all your knowledge, we can achieve this better and faster ! I'm aware not always having been clear, but I didn't know what I can hope to achieve... (and by the way, sometimes it can be hard to express this in English) At least, there were some animation on these forums with my stupidities ! But thanks for the newbies section lansing ! I should have asked on these forums (if I had known) to achieve what I was looking for, because they would have understood this quest of perfection I suppose :
http://tasvideos.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=19426 Videos : https://www.youtube.com/playlist?lis...hhAr9_obTt_pIT (Nevertheless, I am always grateful for the help that some have given me.) I often watch some of these TAS, and I'm always impressed by the quality ! But strangely, I never thought about reading on the forums of this site I only post this because I think there are some interesting things... for some persons who would be searching on Google maybe Oki. Adios ! Last edited by SuperLumberjack; 1st July 2019 at 23:26. |
