AC3 EQ'd for Ogg

Ok, I give up on mp3, too many problems never got decent sound.

I've been learning Ogg, and wow the sound truly is amazing for the file sizes. I have several DVD's of old concerts, and the sound quality needed some work. I decided to try and eq the audio bring the sound up to a respectable level at higher freqs. So far the only method I have found is to Use Besweet to convert the AC3 to WAV. Use Roxio to EQ the WAV(only format supported for EQ in Roxio). Use CDex to convert the WAV to Ogg. Mux Avi into OGM and the concert is much more enjoyable.

Here's the question. I read somewhere in forums that there is a pluggin for Besweet to EQ audio files. Does anyone know what this is, where I can find it, and how it works?

1. download superequ v0.3 winamp plugin.
2. run winamp and configure superequ to have the desired frequency response.
3. save this configuration as an .eq file (eg. 'BeSweet.eq')
4. select 'BeSweet.eq' inside OggMachine v0.6.

that's it.

Thank you very much, It works great and I got the lowpass filter I've been looking for by dropping the last slider @19Khz to cuttout position.

Your program reasserted a gain almost identical to drops I made in signal settings. Need to play with EQ settings little more, bass needs more defeat, My Sub going nuts here....lol.

Thanks again for the great solution to my problem.

I'm not sure I can post a file. I'll give it a shot though.

EDIT:
Well, that didn't work. It said to locate the file with browser (did that) and post, attachment will be in post. Won't let me drop and drag either, I'm lost. Must be all those years (over 30) of heavy drug and alcohol abuse, very few functional brain cells left...lol. The eq file is just a set of numbers in a line anyways showing defeat levels for L and R channels.

Get a little help with the procedure for getting attachments inside post?

Changes in switches?

Thanks DSPGuru for BeSweet!

Just some small hints for the equ feature:

I was sucessfull with the equalizer function using Shibata´s plug-in
for WinAmp. I had previously to put to work Valex AC3 WinAmp plug-in
as my source was in AC3:

http://winampac3.sourceforge.net/

Once I saved in BeSweet folder the myequalizerfile.equ from
Shibata´s plug-in, I used it in BeSweet 1.5bxx (probably, 11).
I used switch -shibatch( -equ myequalizerfile.equ ) as in information
provided with BeSweet and as per (v4) http://besweet.notrace.dk/cli.html

Nevertheless, I was only sucsessfull using instead:
-ssrc( -equ myequalizerfile.equ )

Thanks to all.
