I've been experimenting and I think I've come up with a much better CRF prediction algorithm for one-pass encoding. Hopefully I'll get it more accurate by this weekend. I've also finished working on the DD+ PiP audio and it now works (I tested it on "The Matrix").

Nothing is 100% bulletproof... Nothing will "always work", especially when its still in beta.

Tried to do death race again with new beta (25.01) Got this error on clip 59:
- Error in attempt to multiplex: MUX_00293.meta
- This is not an EBML file (id=0/440786851
[21:01:40] - Failed to build structure, aborted.

Never seen this before, so don't know what to do with it.

Congratulation jdobbs!

I tried the Fast Encode option for DOGMA (42gb). The High Quality setting to BD25 took aprox 4.5 hrs and the Fast Encode setting took 2hrs 2min. The final size was 21.6gb, so the undersize wasn't very much. The quality difference between the two copies is virtually none and everything works for both copies.

I won't waste space posting the log unless you want to see it.

Thanks for an excellant addition!

Yes, the 720 downsize worked here as well before.

Anyway, here the results of the 1-pass encode (skipping the sups):
- Target size BD-9 (DVD-9) / Full Backup / 720p resize / 2 x ac3 audio / no subs
=> Disk filled to 69% (undersize)
=> crf of main feature = 22.05. So despite the undersize the quality is still good .... very good.
=> crf estimation took 20 minutes which represents a considerable time saving compared to a say 2 hours 1st pass of a standard 2-pass encode

PiP (secondary audio) also uses a special type of DTS HD, which is not currently supported by BD-RB because TSMUXER cannot mux it.

Yep, and most PiP audio tracks are DTS Express. Of my 30 or so blurays with PiP only around 5-6 are AC3+. So he might be waiting abit longer

Hello,

I'm a new member and thanks for this great program keep the good work going .

I did the HELLBOY2 with no errors. I use PowerDVD8 and the menu is fine. When I hit play it goes throught the fbi warning and then the PG13 screen, some other screen and then is blank nothing it just stays there.

Any ideas what this could be?

Regards.

Thanks.
0.24.01 had a major bug that would cause something like this but it was promptly fixed in 0.24.02 onwards.

Have you tried a fresh encode with the latest version by this I mean from the start without resuming from a previous version
