I am trying very hard to find that bl**dy chapter bug. I will post a PreRelease here, when I think I got it nailed. But since it's christmas and all, be a little patient with me.

BTW, I wanted to ask you all, did any of you have to use Crash Recovery during the process?

Not here,

i must say, that on my system (Win2k, Duron 850, Epox 8KTA2) i never had any problems with dvd2svcd. It allways ran very stable on my machine and for the testing i always did a complete run with the versions no recovery.

Greetings,

Ok, If you do use Crash Recovery and start from SVCD Authoring, is the XML file then still without chapters?

From dvd2svcd output folder:
*.ini
*.xml
*.txt
*.log
*.d2s

And from dvd2svcd program folder:
dvd2svcd.ini

Excellent Job dvd2svcd!!! - Brilliant!

I tested the chapters with the title and change cd picture and what can i say, it runs perfect in WinDVD 3.1, PowerDVD 4.0 XP and on my standalone player. (I'm kneeling down in front of my monitor right now, weaving my arms up and down crying: 'I am unworthy!')

Thank you very much, i guess christmas starts this evening!

Greetings and Merry Christmas to all out there,

build 3 solved all problems I ever had (at least with DVD2SVCD)! There´s nothing left to do in my eyes (as far as DVD2SVCD produce "only" SVCDs ).
I want to wish a merry christmas to all people in this forum and above!!
At DVD2SVCD: Relax ... Slow down ... take it easy! (now you can!)

And ... don´t forget:
