Scenarist 2.7 won't install on Wine 20040505

I've been able to get most of the Big 3 apps installed through wine but Scenarist 2.7 has been giving me grief. Everytime I run the setup I get the following error:

X Error of failed request: BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)
Major opcode of failed request: 1 (X_CreateWindow)
Serial number of failed request: 61
Current serial number in output stream: 63

This only happens when I change my screen-depth in the config file to 24 as the setup requires it. If I leave it at the default 16 setup will actually load but will of course tell me to change the depth to 24.

Has anyone encountered a problem similar to this?
