Hello Steve
I have been able to observe, who, Sony Sound Forge 9 cannot export the 7 WAV mono (created with VI.I), either in Dolby Surround EX, since, with Sony Sound Forge 9, only there are 2 projects: 5.1 and 7,1, 6,1 does not exist. But that can be done, 5,1 with V.I Greetings

Hello
VII.I ¡¡milk!! Octomax 2,0, also works in Sony Sony Forge 9 The HDCD (High Definition Compatible Digital) of Digital Dolby Pro, very is improved for CDs: Encoded CDs sound better because they are encoded with 20bits of real musical information as compared to 16bits for all other CDs. My amplifier Marantz no HDCD ¿Is some no firmware? for Marantz SR-7500?

Sony Sound Forge 9 with Circle Surround, it is heard bad in my home cinema 6.1. Track 4 is LFE (in Sony Sound Forge 9) not Surround Center. I'm sorry.

Don't Let Sun Go down on me.cda
(first post tutorial) 04. Menu / File / Properties. Changing to 48000Hz, George Michael's vocal sounds different(more like woman voice). Why? Can i encode to Dolby Surround EX 6.1, while keeping 44100Hz? edit: how to export separate 6 wav mono channels from Sony Sound Forge 9? (with one click, not bothering with copy/paste to "new files") By the way, Sony Sound Forge 9 says that i have to buy ac3 encoder. edit: resample 44100 to 48000: "Process->Resample..." >>>New Sample Rate=48,000, Interpolation Accuracy=4("4" is for audiophile according to help ) , anti-alias filter NONE(help says anti-alias is only for downsampling ). Now, in "Menu->File->Properties->Format", 44,100Hz is automatically updated to 48,000Hz. (I haven't changed anything manually ) Now, George Michael's vocal is the same. Some comments about guide: 02. Menu / Process / 32bits float / OK. 03. Menu / Process / DC Offset / Preset (Remove DC offset scan entire sound file) / OK. 04. Menu / File / Properties. Elektra999, first, you're setting 32bits float in process menu, and than change bith-depth to 16bits in "Properties->Format" - I think this is used for INFO only. My input was 44100Hz and changing 48000Hz in "Properties->Format" gave me weird result with vocal. I assume converting to 32bits float is for accuracy?Am i right?! Can you explane what is "DC Offset / Preset (Remove DC offset scan entire sound file)" used for?!(I've forgotton that there's a help file ) Try to set "Properties->Format->channels= 8 (7.1 Surround)". After "Process Selection" with Circle Surround, you will get 7 channels (6+1) and 1 empty. But problem for me, is that I don't know which one is for which channel orientation. Track 1 = FL Track 2 = FR Track 3 = Center Track 4 = Surround Center Track 5 = SL Track 6 = SR Track 7 = LFE Is this workable for real 6.1 channel? Or there's a substitution between 4 and 7? Stereo to 7.1 upmix using Nero Sound Processor and GraphEdit
You need Nero installed. (my ver 7.8.5.0)
I've used CD audio track. Rename GraphEdit to Recode. Use "File writer" to write WAV file. Here's what Nero Sound Processor have to offer: Here's how that way created wav7+1 looks in Sound Forge 9: It was well accepted by sonic scenarist 4.1 But I don't have Dolby Digital Plus (7.1ch) encoder Last edited by SealTooGreat; 11th May 2007 at 07:21. |

This Dolby Digital Pro of Sony sound forge 9, can be done the 6.1, but I do not believe that the 7.1.
- When doing the 6.1, there is bug (error) in channel SC., in Dolby Digital Pro (channel EX) with SRS Circle and VI.I - Download VI.I 6.1 and V.I 5.1 - Dolby Digital Pro of Sony Sorge 9, not 44100, yes 48000. - Creation Dolby Digital 5.1 in Sony Forge 9, perfect with V.I

Direct Information from http://www.dolby.com
Dolby Digital EX Dolby Digital Surround EX Taken from www.yamaha.co.jp Dolby Digital EX: Dolby's latest surround format, this is Dolby Digital with an added center rear channel. The rear center channel is actually matrixed into the two rear channels, and is extracted upon playback. (Formerly called Dolby Digital Surround EX, or Dolby Digital Matrix 6.1.) ...so DD EX = DD Surround EX ...and EX is just matrix-encoded flag and nothing more. Conclusion, if you want to encode to DD EX you only need 5+1 ch, 'cause DD EX sound mix is not encoded as true 6.1 audio. In DD EX capable encoder select: "Digital Surround EX encoded". Depending on your decoder(if it's EX certified) and speaker configuration (6.1 or 7.1) you will get EX 6.1 or EX 7.1 surround, respectivelly, during playback. Even if a cinema is not equipped with the extra Surround EX speakers in the rear, the information intended for it will be played through the traditional left and right surround channels - so always keep DD_encoder's option "Digital Surround EX encoded" selected, in order to get additional psycoacoustic-sound info. Stereo to 6.1 upmixing is only useful if you have DTS-ES Discrete or Dolby Digtial Plus or Dolby TrueHD. Stereo to 7.1 - Dolby Digtial Plus or Dolby TrueHD. btw, DVD Architect 4.0 gave me Dolby Digital AC3 pro Last edited by SealTooGreat; 11th May 2007 at 08:54. |
