Problem with movies freezing
I've had a problem with movies freezing here lately after i use rempeg. The first one it did it on was Good Will Hunting,it only freezes one time and can be fast forwarded through. The other two, Casino and Orange County, it stops at just about every chapter. It's starting to get really old. I can't figure out what could be causing this because when i play the discs in my computer it works fine, but in my standalone they freeze. Any ideas would be GREATLY appreciated.

I had exactly the same problem... it's was playing fine on my Pioneer A04 but freezing after about 50mns in my setop player (APEX 1500).
I fixed the problem by using another DVD-R brand. It looks like some cheap DVD-Rs don't work that well in setop players After many tries the only cheap brand that worked fine 100% of the time was the Meritline dark purple DVD-R.

I use Apple DVD-R. And they're not cheap.I find a solution, but it's time wasted in a kind of way.
I burn a dvd-rw (that doesn't work on my Pioneer DV-500 but works on my PC). I demux video and audio and author it with Maestro. And I burn a dvd-r which works !!!!
