If I add "ConvertToRGB32" to the script, recode simply disappears !?!

I have NERO ULTRA 6.6.0.1 but I can't find any recode
What version do I need?

I can't download italian language packs (and in the previuos Nero Vision language pack only a little part of software was localizated) (why?)

If you have the CD you may have to install the Nero Vision Pack and if you bought the serial you must download the software (not included in the Nero Burnig Rom pack)

there is no recode 6.6, there is nero reloaded aka 6.6 (6.6.0.3 as of yesterday to be precise), and there is NVE3 which include nero recode ftp://ftp4.us.nero.com/NVE30114.exe.

LostMP4: maybe You have some sort of OEM, You can try remove current SN and see if demo version works

I'm currently in the process of "backing up" Terminator 3 (105min) to an 800MB file!

I'm using the slowest/highest quality 2pass AVC settings and I've just broken thru' 13hour 13min barrier... with another 247 mins to go

I reckon It's still faster than WMV9's slowest/highest quality 2pass setting....

You have to enter a NeroDigital serial to enable NeroDigital features.

First tests and I am amazed. Easily the best codec out there (for my needs at least).
At low bitrates using adaptive deblocking gives a more detailed picture at the cost of some blocks here and there.
Also I got a video with a lot of snow and vibrant blue-red colors at times, where nero gives a very blocky image. I thought blocks where because of bframes or psychovisual options but disabling them didnt help.

Sorry for the noob question, how can I take some pictures of frames of the videos produced? Vdub cant open the videos, and as always prtscrean doesnt work.

you can just disable hardware acceleration on your grphics card then you ahould be able to take screen grabs using print screen.

Is it possible without Nero Recode installed to view an AVC encoding. If so, do you need a codec, and where do you get it from?
