MP3 to AAC with BeSweetGUI Question

Hello all, in the midst of the holy search button..I was looking for a program or way to convert MP3's to AAC so I can add audio to my DVD Menu. I'm using DVDAuthorGUI.

Searching this site came up with a couple threads talking about UpMix and UpMixGUI...but all links inthe threads were dead and Doom's main download page did not have those proggies. So searching elsewhere I found a tutorial written using BeSweet, BeSweetGUI. Well it was simple and worked fine...EXCEPT..no matter what I seem to do..I get distortion on some of the bass beats. I've tried boost, 5.1 convert, even higher bitrates.

Any suggestions?

here is the upmix but i've a problem about it this is my problem "none file found inside input folder!(d:\arquivos de
programas\borland\delphi6\projects\upmixgui\mainform.pas,
line 594)"
