Placement improved...
Hi Kurtnoise:
I checked ver 0.17 on our various machines and it opens properly in the center of the screen on all of them. Nice job. Also, it is no longer too big for 1024x768. The change did introduce a small problem with the font layout in the interface, probably caused by the fact that we use the "Large Size (120 DPI)" font size setting on all our XP machines. The resizing you did of your program's window makes several instances of text lines get cut off at the end of the line. For instance, in the WAV/PCM tab, each instance of the word "wave" next to the output channel radio buttons is missing one or more letters. I can e-mail you a couple of screen shots if that would help. Making the whole BeLight window a little wider might solve the problem, or using a slightly smaller typefont. Best regards. |

May I suggest something similar to this for the mp3 options:

MUX/LST Option
Hi Krutnoise,
is it possible to make a nice GUI menue for MUX/LST file list where it´s possible simply to mark the files (or selecting the path to the single file - like your input/output option) in order FL,FR,C,LFE,SL,SR to create an automatic MUX list or file1,file2... for LST? I guess this would be a very confortable addon for all users! THX

One last request and I wont bother you anymore Is it possible to add the 'priority' CPU feature? I typically set BeSweet to run in 'Idle' mode so I can do other tasks while BeSweet encodes. EDIT- Oooops, the LAME '--resample 44.1' command does not seem to function. Bug? Last edited by MacAddict; 23rd November 2004 at 14:42. |

Hi.
Thanks for this very good gui. In the german forum a user asked a question... "Is it possible to save my own settings in the gui" Could you integrate a function that saves the settings, in a .ini file perhaps ?? It could be very useful... |

@MacAddict: I'm checking the trick. Use SSRC instead of --resample Lame function. I think it's more accurate and it works fine. |

Cosmetic suggestions (meaning: to consider if todo list is about to get empty ):
- Don’t use underlined text (e.g. on the Vorbis tab). Non-underlined is much better to read. - For translations labels/checkboxes/etc. adjusting to the text length would be nice (within limits that don’t mess up the GUI of course). P.S.: Wow, already the third version in three days. Pretty impressing. About as fast as Gabest in his best days. And that’s saying something!
