About shifted middle area of DVD-R DL

Who can tell me some knowledge about shifted middle area of DVD-R DL ?
and how to burn data to DVD-R DL with setting shifted middle area start address ?
Please say more and more follow this thread!

AFAIK, you only shift the middle area when no data is burnt on layer 1. (when you might as well use a single layer disc!)

Other than that, the layer break position cannot be changed. (Not in DAO mode anyway)
