where are the subs?

hi there folks, hopefully somebody has some advice! im currently trying to copy a friends copy of the star wars the phantom menace and turn it into a 2 disc vcd.
im using smart ripper,dvd2avi,tmpgnc, and easycd platinum.
ive had no problems except i cannot find the subtitles for the alien language. why isnt it w/ the movie? how do i get the subs w/ the movie? ive done other movies that had subs in certain parts of the flick, and have had no problems....does anybody how or where to find the subtitles? im sorta lost and confused here, any help would be most appreciated!!!!! thank you in advance for any help

Hi-They're there. As I remember, they're default when you play the DVD, so you know they're in there. It's been a while since I ripped the movie, but as I remember, they're the third of four sub streams (could be wrong, though). And I used Smart Ripper, too.
