Suggestion for beta4 ?
a) Possible to get one wave file for all selected tracks (good for whole album in one file)
b) Generate CUEsheet for "split" tracks in one file

a) is high important for me, b) not

Me neither...

Try opening 2 files in separate Audacity sessions, then copy/paste one channel at time, then save.

eac3to result:

WAV, 5.1 channels, 0:04:23, 24 bits, 88.2khz
Source file joining currently doesn't work for WAV files.

Are there any stand alone DVD-A players that doesn't check for the water mark?
Are there any firmware modified players that doesn't look for the water mark ?

I would like to play my backupss in a player that can send the audio over HDMI.

Hi guys I have a problem related to this program. When I chose to make downmixes it saved them as 24-Bit 96kHz Stereo WAV files that play fine in all media players. However, when I open them in Adobe Audition 3.0 (to make some edits etc.) and save them as "Microsoft PCM WAV" (24-Bit, 96kHz, Stereo), they do not play in any of my media players. The file appears to be playing but there is no sound. The only differences I can see in the file attributes are that there is a new "Audio Format" attribute whose value is "PCM" - this attribute does not exist on the original (working) files. However, if I save the file as a "32-Bit float" Microsoft PCM WAV in Audition, they play fine! Here is an image to explain:

I don't think that WAV requires any codecs so it can't be a codec problem, right? Any ideas?

Yeah I was pretty sure it was a problem with Audition but thought that someone who knew more about how DVD-A Explorer saved its WAV files might be able to help me. I fixed the problem by setting ffdshow to handle all WAV files. According to some websites I have visited, high resolution and/or surround sound WAV files can only be played back natively if they are in WAVE EXTENSIBLE format and the files I was saving were in PCM format, which cannot be played back natively (due to Microsoft not implementing backwards compatibility properly, sigh). Thanks anyway .

Hi,

Thanks for this amazing great tools for DVD-A lovers.
I'm using the last beta 3 and I have an "MLP decoder Error" on QUEEN A Night At The Opera Track 07 as I have with a previous version of DVDAExplorer with MIKE OLDFIELD Tubular Bells 2003 which does not exist for this DVD-A since Beta 1.

Kind Regards

Just to keep the links alive, here's rapidshare mirrors for DVDAExplorer:

Windows version, beta 3: http://rapidshare.com/files/14323049...2008.07.21.zip
Mac version beta 3: http://rapidshare.com/files/14323808...erBeta3OSX.zip

MooCan: I had no problem with Queen Night at Opera.
