I know it's there
"Attachments Pending Approval" (which means it can't be opened until it's approved)
I just don't understand why you'd put it in a word doc
photo attachments may not require approval....or microsoft office
but you'd just want to upload to an image hosting site anyways

It's there, it's a screen shot saved into a word doc...are you having trouble opening it?
it would be even better if you compressed that .doc to rar with password and split file in 100 pieces...

Atak,

I re-encoded a movie last night using the 100% option. It still too low for my likening. I compared it to another encode of the same movie I did with the latest [spam]. It has by default the AAC audio encode set to 125%.

Would you mind considering allowing th euser of your GUI to be able to adjust the audio boost level? (rename it from normalize to audio boost)

TIA

OK, just installed RB on my new Win 7 64bit machine. When I add an MKV and the streams are demuxed, the correct length and frames are reported. Whem the encode starts, only the first 7000 or so frames are encoded. I've tried 2 or 3 MKVs with the same results. Any ideas?!

OK, I re-installed RB in case there was an issue. I then re-added the MKV as I didn't notice the audio length before. Audio is correctly being reported. But now, it just sits there initializing and not starting the encode!

As for the bitrate, I've no idea. All I told RB to do is a 2-pass encode, fit to HD res and DL DVD size.

Edit: OK, looks like the initaliaztion issue is due to me changing the output path or the location of RipBot? Does it store settings in the registry?

I tried to convert anime with Ripbot and it still does not work.

1-- Ive tried editing the script to 23.976 like you told me to it didn't work.
2-- Decimate it didn't work.
3-- Assume FPS it didn't work.
4-- Inverse Telecine it didn't work.
5-- Convert FPS it didn't work.

Would you mind encoding it!

Code:
video=DirectShowSource("C:\Users\Dawid\Desktop\NS93_[SAMPLE].mkv",audio=false,convertfps=true).ConvertToYV12()
modify script and everything will be ok.

why don't you encode yourself? I just added convertfps=true so you can do the same.

Do you want me to upload the modified script and the encode!!

i searched this thread, and saw versions of this question asked, but never found a solid answer. is it possible to encode to 720p without black bars?

i notice the black bars on fixed on the outputted file, making it exactly 1280x720. what if you don't want black bars at all? for example, i was converting a 1080p movie rip that i calculated to be a 1280x544 image (without black bars) when 720p. i selected the high profile (4.0) then under properties i go to "do not crop" and "size = custom (x,xx:1)" and i input 1280x544.

the resulting file just squishes the picture and makes the black bars larger, instead of just encoding the video stream itself down to 1280x544, without black bars. what am i doing wrong?

does ripbot add the black bars just to make it easier to encode for the user as i've read in previous posts, or is there some benefit to the monitor/screen to have it perfectly 1280x720 already? i just know if i'm watching something in windowed mode on my laptop, i'd rather not have the black bars, they take up extra space that's unnecessary.

side question:
ripbot 1.16.0 & 1.16.1 won't take my demuxed .264 video files, nothing happens when i load them, i have to use 1.15.1 to encode HD stuff, but 1.16.0&1 take my .vob files just fine. any ideas?

It would help if you actually said what kind of subtitles you're trying to add.

Check your job's AVS file, and see whether it contains something like:

Code:
LoadPlugin("C:\Program Files\AviSynth 2.5\plugins\VSFilter\VSFilter.dll")
video=TextSub(video,"C:\video\mysub.ass")
Also, java?? Are you trying to use actual .SUP files, by any chance? Then you need to install the SupTitle plugin; like:

Code:
LoadPlugin("C:\Program Files\AviSynth 2.5\plugins\SupTitle.dll")

video=FFVideoSource("M:\jobs\akira.mkv").ConvertToYV12()
video=SupTitle(video, "M:\jobs\akira_exp.sup", forcedOnly=false, swapCbCr=false, relocate=true, relocOffset="0,0,0,0")

return video
N.B. I always run my .SUP files through BDSup2Sub first, and export to a new SUP file (you'd be surprised how many errors a .SUP file contains on average).

I have found out that ripbot seems to encode faster and better when i run it in administrator mode in 64 bit windows 7 instead of the default account that you use when you set up your pc.
