How Can I Remap A Menu Button?
I am backing up a copy of "Disney's The Rescuers" dvd for a road trip. The original dvd is just over 6gb in size.
To get it down to a DVD-5 compliant size, I used VobBlanker to strip the usual: languages other than English, warnings and movie trailers, and a couple extras that weren't needed. Now when I click on "PLAY" from the menu the dvd stops playing entirely. All other buttons including bonus features left intact play just fine. Is there a way using PgcEdit, I can diagnose what is going on when you click on "PLAY" from the main menu and hopefully remap it to play the main movie? I can post screenshots of the files opened in PgcEdit if need be. |

Through further inspection it turned out by blanking a 19-sec video (Disney DVD "Pure Magic" promo) file in VobBlanker that was played just prior to the main movie was causing the outputted dvd to not play properly.
Keeping that video file intact let the main movie play just fine. What can cause this? I thought when you blanked a file it still maintained all previous video attributes and such, but just got reduced to a 1-frame video file? |

The command structure should be intact. Check that the commands are the same for the offending PGC before and after blanking. Especially check cell commands.
