Extreme OPS (Region 1) WideScreen or FullScreen Cheat Sheet
Extreme OPS [Region 1] WideScreen or FullScreen (Disabling Aspect Ratio Menu)
Courtesy of 2CL Tools I used IFOedit 0.95 DVD Decrypter in File Mode and selecting certain files Title Information Title 1: VTS_03 contains your WideScreen movie Title 2: VTS_04 contains your FullScreen movie __________________________________________________________ 1. Create a folder named “XOPS” and a subfolder named “Files”. __________________________________________________________ 2. Rip the following files for your desired aspect ratio to your “XOPS” folder.
3. Open VIDEO_TS.IFO with IFOedit and press “Get VTS Sectors” buttons to load other IFOs. __________________________________________________________ 4. Region Free every IFO and save commands if Region Code Encoding (RCE) is detected. I do this out of habit especially if I decided to use SmartRipper instead. __________________________________________________________ 5. Backup all IFOs to “Files” subfolder. It’s a good practice to backup your original files prior to editing. In case you mess up, you can always copy over your these files over your badly edited one and then press your “Get VTS Sectors” button to refresh data in IFOedit. __________________________________________________________ 6. Bypass Unwanted Stuff In VIDEO_TS.IFO / VMG Overview / Language Menu Unit 1, do a Delete Playback on the following menus. Select and press your Delete Playback button. If successful, your number of Programs and Cells should be zero and (uses VOB-IDs: #) should disappear. Language Menu Unit 1: [English] Menu 4: [entry only]...(Programs: 1) (Cells: 1) (uses VOB-IDs: 1) English Copyright Warnings Menu 5: [entry only]...(Programs: 1) (Cells: 1) (uses VOB-IDs: 2) English Disclaimer Menu 6: [entry only]...(Programs: 1) (Cells: 1) (uses VOB-IDs: 3) French Copyright Warnings Menu 7: [entry only]...(Programs: 1) (Cells: 1) (uses VOB-IDs: 4) French Disclaimer __________________________________________________________ 7. Select your aspect ratio preference.
WIDESCREEN 8. Displaying Main Menu for Widescreen Go to VIDEO_TS.IFO / VMGM_MAT / First Play PGC / PGC Command Table. Edit first jump command, which is Pre Command #2, as follows. Right click and select “ Edit Command” and pick (JumpSS_VTSM) Jump to Titleset Menu. Title Nr.: 1, TitleSet Nr.: 3, and Menu: root. OLD > 2.Pre Command...(JumpSS VMGM) Jump to VMG PGC: 14..................................[30 06 00 0e 00 c0 00 00] NEW > 2.Pre Command...(JumpSS VTSM) Jump to TitleSet(vts): 3, Title(ttn): 1, root-menu...[30 06 00 01 03 83 00 00] Details: Each aspect ratio movie has its own menus so we just went to the one we want to keep. __________________________________________________________ 9. Save VIDEO_TS.IFO and BUP __________________________________________________________ 10. Bypassing the Aspect Ratio Menu Go to VTS_03_0.IFO / VTSM_PGCI_UT / PGC-Menu_13 / PGC Command Table. Change the value of “Number of Pre Commands” the same as “Number of Post Commands”. Also change the “Number of Post Commands” to a value of zero. Double left click on values to edit. Below is the before and after results. OLD> Number of Pre Commands...........0................................................[0000] Number of Post Commands..........6................................................[0006] NEW> Number of Pre Commands...........6................................................[0006] Number of Post Commands..........0................................................[0000] Details: By doing this, your Post Commands now are converted to Pre Commands and you will now bypass your video play which is your Aspect Ratio Menu. If you want to know about this method,I documented that in this thread. __________________________________________________________ 11. Bypassing the Movie Rating before Movie While in VTS_03_0.IFO, go to VTS Overview / Menu Language Unit and do a “delete playback” on following. Language Menu Unit 1: [English] Menu 14: [entry only].......(Programs: 1) (Cells: 1) (uses VOB-IDs: 6)PG-13 Movie Rating __________________________________________________________ 12. Save VTS_03_0.IFO & BUP __________________________________________________________ 13. Get VTS Sectors __________________________________________________________ 14. Press DVDPlay button to preview and test. Test also in PowerDVD or WinDVD if you got it. __________________________________________________________ That’s it for WideScreen. Burn what works for you. FULLSCREEN 15. Title Nr.: 1, TitleSet Nr.: 4, and Menu: root. OLD > 2.Pre Command...(JumpSS VMGM) Jump to VMG PGC: 14..................................[30 06 00 0e 00 c0 00 00] NEW > 2.Pre Command...(JumpSS VTSM) Jump to TitleSet(vts): 4, Title(ttn): 1, root-menu...[30 06 00 01 04 83 00 00] Details: Each aspect ratio movie has its own menus so we just went to the one we want to keep. __________________________________________________________ 16. Displaying Correct Menu after Previews Go to / VMGM_PGCI_UT / PGC-Menu_9 / PGC Command Table. Right click on Pre Command #3 and change TitleSet Nr. from 3 to 4. 3.Pre Command...(JumpSS VTSM) Jump to TitleSet(vts): 3, Title(ttn): 1, root-menu.....[30 06 00 01 03 83 00 00 ] 3.Pre Command...(JumpSS VTSM) Jump to TitleSet(vts): 4, Title(ttn): 1, root-menu.....[30 06 00 01 04 83 00 00 ] Details: After your previews are done, it jumps to your Wide screen menu. We want it to go back to our fullscreen menu. __________________________________________________________ 17. Save VIDEO_TS.IFO and BUP __________________________________________________________ 18. Bypassing the Aspect Ratio Menu Go to VTS_04_0.IFO / VTSM_PGCI_UT / PGC-Menu_13 / PGC Command Table. Change the value of “Number of Pre Commands” the same as “Number of Post Commands”. Also change the “Number of Post Commands” to a value of zero. Double left click on values to edit. Below is the before and after results. Now we also want our movie to play when we click the Play Button instead of displaying the movie rating so while you are still here, edit Post Command #6 to jump to Title 1. OLD > Number of Pre Commands...........0..............................................[0000] Number of Post Commands..........6..............................................[0006] 6.Post Command...(JumpVTS_TT) Jump to Title: 3..................................[30 03 00 00 00 03 00 00] NEW > Number of Pre Commands...........6..............................................[0006] Number of Post Commands..........0..............................................[0000] 6.Pre Command...(JumpVTS_TT) Jump to Title: 1...................................[30 03 00 00 00 01 00 00] Details: By doing this, your Post Commands now are converted to Pre Commands and you will now bypass your video play which is your Aspect Ratio Menu. If you want to know about this method,I documented that in this thread. Also, changing to Title 1 will play, Title 1 from this Titleset, not Title 1 from VIDEO_TS.IFO. __________________________________________________________ 19.
