Thanks for the positive feedback

ASFAIK there are no problems with scenarist 3.0 and numenu4u. This is a problem with scenaid IF the title has BOV

By far, the single best way to prevent the flu is for individuals, especially persons at high risk for serious complications from the flu, to get a flu shot each fall.

Hi Zeul,

i'm trying to do sex and the city season 3 disc 1 R2, but numenu4u rc2 b4 crashes while building the scenarist script (as did b2 and b3)
it is a multi episode disc with two vts for the menus. happens with every possible combination of the two.
Code:
Procedure Name:	CheckAudioSource
Module Name:	AssetProcess

Error Number:	53
Error Description:	File not found
Error Source:	Project1
Error Line:	22
Call Stack:
	CheckAudioSource	-->	AssetProcess
	NewGenerateTrackData	-->	Scenarist_Build
	CreateSCP	-->	Scenarist_Build
	StartNuMenu4u	-->	ExecuteProgram
	go_Click	-->	MainForm
in the debug process i also end up with a zip file that doesn't contain any files from my working dir, though i'm sure that i followed your footnote instruction and did select the right directory.
tell me if/which files you need.

i really appreciate the hard work you are putting into this program, thank you

The files I need are:

the entire FRAMESERVING folder
VTS_01_0.VOB from the SUBTITLES folder
ALL the original IFOs
logs
and a directory listing would be useful too

@muppets

i had a very similar problem. it resulted from bad or missing registry keys of dvd decrypter. i did a windows re-installion before and this was one of the tools i thought i had re-installed too but i did not - only the folder remained and the registry keys where gone. maybe u have a similar problem. took me a while to find out because everything seemed to be okay.

does it always happen - i mean - on every dvd? also check if the other tools needed are in place. im no expert - just a user. htis solved the error 53 for me.

CCE is now processed in batches of 50 not 75 - CCE would on occasion complain of unsupported frame size or avifileinfo error
NTSC_FILM is now derived from the log file instead of internal computations
Change to the internal routines for support of multiple bmps per cell
fix: if there was > 1 bmp per cell the first bmp did not always have the correct end time / duration
fix: if the palette needed to be replaced in the ifo becuase of multiple cell use, then only the video_ts.ifo would have been fixed
HMMMM, Actually remembered to include the zipping dll this time! May account for the strange results
Found the problem which was resulting in no VOB file in the SUB folder or the audio not being processed.

enjoy

I would just like to add a Well Done Zeul. I just backed up Hidalgo UK Pal version.Re-encoded the menu with a avg of 2800 6pass'knocking about 100mb off the menu down to about 180mb(didnt really wanna drop the bitrate much more as the menu was interlaced) and the menu worked fine.I used Numenu4u RC2 Build 3 to do it.

Nice one.

I have for the first time tried to use this program.

Everything runs fine but when Sceanterist has finished successfully the hole process stops.

I seems that nothing continues, and the progress bar has stopped at apx 70%.

What could be wrong here??

eriksen,

what version of NuMenu are you using?

what are your Scenarist settings?
Import, compile, Close?

What version of Scenarist are you using?

check your NuMenu4U.log file (in your program directory) and see what the last process reported was.

cheers

The latest version of Numenu (RC2 Build4)

The settings for Scenarist are import,compile,close

I use Sonic.Scenarist.v2.7.0241

Sonic Scenerist just says compile successful but the whole process stops. Like no jobs are given to numenu.

I can't find the NuMenu4U.log file in install dir?

I use the latest avisynth (2.5.5.0)

Maby I should try with version 3.0 but I've read in the forum that this could cause some bugs.

Please help..

/Julius

sorry mate, forgot to mention that you have to have 'enable LOG File' selected in Default Settings.

personally i would change Scenarist Settings to 'Import' only and see if there are any import errors, then compile (again check for errors) then run the IfoUpdate.bat (or something like that) file.

oh and try build 5.

if all else fails, use the debug function to send zeul the files

cheers

Wow that was a lot of tips. Will try them when i come home from work today. Actually I had enabled the log file? Hmm might have deleted it in my confusion.

There is just another thought. I manually tell the program where Scenarist is in the very beginning. But if I tell the program to search for the program it can't find it.

This is because it's looking for the installed files in the "c:/..../program files" dir. Both scenarist and numenu are placed in my danish "C:/...../programmer" folder. Could this have a bad effect??

Thanx for your time

/Julius

If scenarist has said compile is successful, then unfortunately it is another Automate_Scenarist problem. To fix just close scenarist, and then in your running processes stop Automate_Scenarist. Once this is closed NuMenu4u will carry on as normal.

Those of you who are having problems with the script name not being filled in all the way and/or scenarist not closing, please try this version and let us know if it resolves your issues

Thanx for the tip, will try it in a few hours

If this is a problem, is there a way to fix it so everything goes automaticly? Or maby the new version will solve the problem.

I could also try the new version of Scenarist - What do you think?

Module Name: Settings

Error Number: 5
Error Description: Invalid procedure call or argument
Error Source: ErrorHandler
Error Line: 5
Call Stack:
Item --> Settings
CheckSystemTray --> MainForm
go_Click --> MainForm

What is wrong now??
