split and join should also work with quicktimepro and uleads videostudio8 with the mpeg-4 plugin (i never tested the later one)
also beaware that mp4box split and join option hasnt been tested at all, so it might be very buggy

can quicktime even handle AVC in MP4? After all, the AVC supporting QuickTime 7 is not finished yet.

no qt6 doesnt support avc (also not avc in mov as created by qt7) at all of course

i now tested mp4box' splitting/concatenating option and there seem to be indeed a bunch of issues
splitting works fine on most samples but not on all, concatenating(appending) leads to a wrong framerate to be used on all samples i tried so its not useable till now edit: typos (thx algern0n ;P )
