i run in a problem while converting sub/idx into sst file format as you can see in my discussion with Mpucoder.
http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.ph...threadid=90693 is this problem relevan to to vsconv or to muxman ? Mpucoder say that is a common error. I don't know. So: will vsconv update to fix this glitch ? Thanks BHH P.S. : i posted in this section because i use your version of vsrip/vconv, fell free to move to another forum' section. |

If you didn't see it in the change log then it wasn't changed....
I tested empty subs and couldn't duplicate your issue so there wasn't anything to fix from my side Next time if you have a problem, report it before you delete the project then maybe we'll have something to work off of |

Subtitle color table
Hi there!
First of all thank you for your great work It looks like something messed up with the subtitle color table in this b45 version (earlier versions worked fine, 1.00, b17, b20). In the compiled (with Scenarist 3.0) movie the color table completly changed. I can handle this, but I think you may be interested... Bye! |

more then likely there was different palettes used in that title... there should have been a note about that in the error log window....
when that's the case, the scenarist default palette is used across the VTS set, in which case the palette info should NOT be copied over for that VTS during the ifoupdate stage.. I'm working w/ trahald to have this be auto detected in batchupdateifo |

encountered this with build 45
======== Info Creating DVD Video files Error Cell "VTS4_Title1_PGC1_PG26_C1" and Cell "VTS4_Title1_PGC1_PG1_C1" in PGC "VTS4_Title1_PGC1" use different color palettes. Please use one color palette for all tracks in the same PGC. Error PreCheck From DB failed. Error DVD Video files could not be created =========== I opened simulation window and instead of yellow text on black outline, the subtitle is colored purple text on blue outline. I changed the subtitle color using "Tools -> Change Color". I opened simulation window to verify change and it's correctly displaying the subtitle colors. Proceed to build the DVD and I again encountered the error stated above. If you need some files to debug, please tell me what files and I'll provide them. Thanks |

Three palettes were present (looking in the track editor), one was the scenarist default, one for PGC1, and one for PGC2. Just one (the first) of the subtitles for PGC1, in the track editor window, was linked to the default palette, instead to the PGC1 palette. In my situation, manually making the right attribution made the whole title correctly compiled... Cheers, SD |

BOV thing
I try to reauthor the movie Big Fish (R2, PAL, contain BOVs). I tried two ways, but Scenarist (3.0.0) always crashed without any word.
1. case: I let ScenAid (1.5 b45) to work with BOVs. Then I tried to import the script into Scenarist, but it crashed during the import process. 2. case: I disabled the BOV support in ScenAid. Now Scenarist imported the script without an error/warning message. (With or without some litle modification) when I wanted to compile the DVD it crashed instantly. I can reproduce this cases and I can send you some files if you need them for examination. Bye! |
