Dolby Digital AC3 2.0 for free!

Good news for all friends of home made films: Dolby Labs finally decided to give away free licenses of AC3 2.0 (two-channel format only) for personal use. They even offer a free encoder, which can directly read WAV and DV AVI type-1 and type-2.

The free license does not cover Dolby's multichannel formats, though (e.g. AC3 5.1).

Get it at their web site: http://www.dolby.com/digital/

Well, it seems it's temporarily not available...

I've uploaded it here for your convenience.

Do you say that because you were disappointed with the zip file's content?

@everybody who believed this:
Well, 98 downloads so far is not bad. I hope you can forgive me if I call you april fools

This has been downloaded 220 time(s).

220 members got fooled, including me.
Next Year , I will try to be cautious.

PS: I suspected somethin when there was a Dolby Logo in bb's post...
