AutoRV10 Software !

Hi,

i have modified my tool (autodub) to make a gui for the Realvideo 10.0

AutoRV10 is a tool to automate the RV10 Encoding.

it support , 1Pass or 2Pass (both) can shutdown you computer
calculate the bitrate needed, support .AC3, .MPA, .WAV and .PCM file input
and start the audio encode process to create a stereo .WAV file (using besweet).

Support .D2V as input file and create the Avisynth project file support
for the crop/resize filter and some extra filter (for anime) like Warpshap, 2D Cleaner
or SmarthSmoother, and some generic filter (Change color and noise reduction).

support 2 audio streams.
support external subtitles.
create .smil file for launch subs and audio.
can split the movie to the desired size
and encode endcredits separately (quality % mode)

Of course this tool work under Win9x/ME, Win2k, WinXP.

PS : v1.4 = AutoRV10 v1.0

Great tool AutoRV10 is, thanks

Just a quick question though - does AutoRV10 follow a W-mod 4 x H-mod 4? I've read about DivX/XviD being affected in terms of compressibility if you use anything other than 16 Mod.

Is RV10 affected in any way by the Modul you use?

It also seems to forget to add Import("F:\Autorv10\SOFTS\AVSFILE\SCRIPT\FIELDORDER.AVS") to the avs script so I get Script error: there is no function named "FieldOrder"

Also still can't select which job to delete. It alway just deletes the first one. Which makes it quite scary after adding many diferently configured jobs. If you get one setting wrong...

Hi,

i have solve theses 3 problems, no more error if bitrate is empty.
the fieldorder was missing if you are using the kerneldeint deinterlacer.
now the delete job remove the selected job.

I have made a silent update, you can find the fixed .exe at the same url in the first post.

PS : the output and input tab will soon be have some cosmetic improvements

Bye.

Hello DC,

Thx for your works on autoRV10. But I found some problems that the dvddecryper is work not working with the autoRV10 interface. Therefore I would like to suggest in step using dvddecrypter. Can you interface read the .ifo & .vob directly ( remarks: .vob file better support over 1G from harddisk)

Therefore is another problem. as .ifo file says that 720x480. but the .vob file is 853x480 (1.78:1, 16:9 japanese HDTV size down from 720p/1080i). Therefore if your autoRV10 can handle that will be great.

Ciao,

ibear

hi,

first thank u for your interest in my software
second, i have a low english skill and i don't fully understand all your sentences, can you please try to explain me what you understand by :

Quote:
But I found some problems that the dvddecryper is work not working with the autoRV10 interface.
which problem ? i still need to work on this part so if you have some bugreport this could help me to improve this part.

Quote:

what does mean "in step" is it eaqual to "stop" ?

Quote:

I suppose you mean , that it's a better idea to directly read the vob and copy from the DVD to harddisk ?
if it's what you mean, in fact i can't do that because there is some protection on the DVD .vob file and i use dvddecrypter to remove them and copy the new uncrypted .vob file on the harddisk.

Quote:

is it an anamorphic DVD ? i was not aware there could have some resolution like 853x480 in the dvd spec, if you could provide me a sample (with the .ifo file too) i think i can try to see if i could handle better support for such dvd.
(if you have subtitle in the .vob it's even better i will check if there are handle correctly).

but does some other player see them as 853x... or 720x... ? and which resolution does dvd2avi see the .vob file ? and which resolution autorv10 show u when u open the .d2v file ?

PS : have you try to set the aspect ratio at 1:1 in the video tab panel ? and which resoltion are you waiting for the output ?

Bye.

Hello DC,

My second problem is that. In step of rip .ifo & .vob file from DVD disc. Can you add one option that read .ifo & .vob files from harddisk. Because I already have a DVDripper software in the harddisk. And also when I rip the video from DVD disc the .ifo & .vob file in the harddisk most of them are over 1G. In my experience not much software can read / support .ifo & .vob file over 1G.

Ciao,

Hello DC,

Here is the third problem, I have NTSC DVD. The content of this DVD is 16:9 TV program the Aspect Ratio is 1.78:1. As I know that the NTSC DVD is 720x480 ( AR 1.33:1) it will look like Letterboxed. If I only want to encode 16:9 the Aspect Ratio is 1.78:1 is it possible to do that !?

Ciao,

hi,

now your answer are more clear for me thx

1)
for the error #6 (when the ripper open the DVD) could you plz add in a .zip file all the .ifo file that are in the DVD, i think one of them produce an error in my ifo parser. (send them at : darkcracker#caramail.com replace #=>@ and put the word "autorv10" in the mail subject).

2)
could you plz explain me why you want to open directly the .ifo file from your hardisk ? instead of made (manually) the .d2v file using dvd2avi and opening the .d2v later ?
could u give me more informations why you want such feature.

3) for the 1.78 ratio i don't have see such dvd (like yours wih 853 resolution), i am not sure how to encode them, i think perhaps the right way is to open you video, crop the black border, select the ratio 1:1 and resize the video.

if you provide me a sample with the .ifo file i could perhaps try to see how to handle this.

Bye.

Normally I didn't change any thing from DVD rip. Yeap you are right I can do dvd2avi. first of all it need more time and need to have video codec too. Another reason I also have mepg2 video from my DVcam.

hi,

i have try your .ifo file and i have no problem to read it, do you have only 1 ifo file in the DVD ? else be sure you send me ALL the ifo file that are on your DVD disc it's surely another .ifo file who have a problem.

Bye.

Still a couple of bugs

Hi DC. I'm still useing and enjoying your tool. But there are 2 quite big bugs.

- Crashes every time I use "set end credits" (runtime error '35600' Index out of bounds crash)

- Runtime error 6 overflow when ever I try to encode to a size over 2200MB. It allways crashes at the beining of the second pass.

Both of these happen on 2 different machines.

I hope you can release 'final' version with these fixed. Right now I have to do 2 or 3 partial d2v projects and then join them to encode a large source.
