Just to point it out I'm using Muxman v0.14d....

vsconv error

when numenu get's to the point "Converting SubPictures" in the log window, i get an error from vsconv. It says "Error: Can't open input" and i can then press OK. i press the butten, and now it shows how to use vsconv (switches)
It pops up a couple of times, then says that the converting is done and goes on like it's ok
Don't think it's and numenu error, but i can't get i to work and its not just one movie, it's all of those i have tryed.

Any ideas?
just tell me if you need more info.

It happened to me many many times , but only after I tried to restart a process (from the beginning , dest dir deleting included) without closing the session.
The only workaround I found for this is to close then re-open NuMenu.

Don't know what is it related with!!

@TuRiSOft
If the problem persists with the new muxman build (14e) then please send me the log file.

@mvfarmer
Not seen that error before. Please send me the log and entire subtitles folder.

@Oruku Saki

I have received your files and am investigating
edit:
I have found the problem and i think it is DIF4U. In this latest build i decided to inc the c/l that DIF4U uses:

DIF4U CommandLine=/start /path="C:\dvd\life" /threshold=25 /drive=F /passes=5 /avebitrate=2000 /minimize /deinterlace /cceo /ccev /close

/cceo /ccev are both written.
One is for onepass, the other vbr multipass

now this needs further investigation. What version of DIF4U are you running. I have most so can hopefully replicate. Please state ALL of your exact settings in DIF4U also. thanks
NM it is build 1.4.0 (the public release build)
I have tested each setting - onepass, multipass, roba. Each time /cceo /ccev is written regardless.

So 2 things are possible. One is upgrade your DIF4U version (requires donation) or 2nd I can release a build with options to override dif4u settings (although i don't want to do this).

Perhaps Eyes' can shed some thoughts.

@mvfarmer
I have at least one problem. This vob has over 500 cells. Not a problem except that the vob created by dvddecrypter contains 255 cells, then the cell# is reset to 1. I think this is a dvddecrypter error.
What version of dvddec are you using? I thought this bug had been fixed a longtime a go.

Try opening the actual videoTS folder instead of the iso (ie press the open folder button). Make sure that pgcdemux is installed in the numenu folder.
PGCDemux will demux out each cell.

I have a disc here somewhere that >700 cells but i can't find it right now to test (always the way eh!)

I use DVDdecrypter 3.5.4.0, newest version.

Indstalled PGCdemux like you said, and opend the files from VIDEO_TS, istead of the iso,
The log said Demuxing whit PGCDemux, so that part was ok, but it's the same thing, it's like the file it tries to open is not there

Do you want the new files sent?, probably the same as the first.

Just tried playing the menu in power dvd, and it seems to play right, but still... it's not good to have an error come up in the middle of the process

@mvfarmer
this seems a bit unorothodox, but, can you open the original vob file in vobedit and check that cells with vobid >255 exist

ok, here goes.... (not good whit this program )
i open VTS_01_0.VOB (Menu) in vobedit.
On the left side there is a long list,

192572 [Navigation Pack] [VOB: 37] [CELL: 1], 0012
192573 [Video Pack] [GOP] [I], 07ec
192574 [Video Pack], 07ec
192575 [Video Pack], 07ec
192576 [Video Pack], 017e
this is the last 5 lines on the left side.

Is this the one you mean?:
192572 [Navigation Pack] [VOB: 37] [CELL: 1], 0012

because then i don't think there is more then 255 of them

addet a snapshot

don't no if the attachment worked, here is a link to the image

have been trying the latest numenu with muxman and I must say that it works really well. Much faster and less error prone than with scenarist. Nice work
