Open the Ifo with the VobSub Configure and then select the Language in the drop down there.. (This sets the main language) then reopen it with subresync and your German Subs should show up.

I'm having the same problem (need to resync a .sub extracted with VobSub), except that I don't get to see anything in subresync, no matter what I open or configure in the configurator. The only change I see when opening something is the dropdown menu for stream selection, but it ends there; when I try to save (although there is nothing to save) subresync quits with an error.

Btw, subtitle .vobs were extracted with SR usind DirectStreamCopy (like it always worked with SubRip), while video & audio was demuxed.

any ideas?
thanx in advance.
