VERY Strange order from CDRVDVRMEDIA
I just received an order of 200 Accus from CDRDVDRMEDIA.com and noticed something very strange. The order was shipped in 4 50 pack spindles that were shrink wrapped. I opened the first spindle and popped it into the drive, fired up ADVDinfo and found I had LD, which I'm assuming is Lead Data, which is OK. Just for giggles I took another DVD out about 2/3 of the way down the spindle and popped it in, ADVDinfo said SONY!! I checked maybe 20 others at random and some are LD and some are Sony. The discs look very much alike, but upon close examination of the little numbers printed on the DVD the Sony's and LD DO NOT match, and to top it all off my 50 pack only had 49 blanks! I'm off to count my other spindles but thought this very weird. I've never received a spindle with 2 different brands!

So far so good, I've burnt 3 of the Sony's and 3 of the LD and they have all worked flawlessly. Burnt the Sony all the way to 4.35GB and did not notice any problems playing it back on my APEX and Panasonic settop player. |
