i try it out right now.

Why is the Interface so blurry? I think its cleartype, can you make an Skin without it?

On some systems wpf programs may have problems. Did you change any font settings? What windows do you use?

Oh dear Microsoft !
I already have issues with my eyes, i don't want it to get worse.
I'll stick with one of the other GUIs then.

I noticed that BluRip uses some kind of non-standard widgets-controls and/or themes.

Is there a way to disable these - and use standard widgets-controls - via command-line options and/or an ini file or registry key?

The reason I want this, is that I am running Windows 7 in a VirtualBox virtual machine. VirtualBox does not support Direct3D/Aero (yet).

When I start the program, its main window never finishes drawing itself for the first time, and the program becomes unresponsive.

Was the settings.xml created? Try to change the skin to 'classic' (<skin>classic</skin> at the end of the file). If that works, I'll set classic as default skin in next version.

blurip 0.4.6 only mux
Hello dear members and author of blurip,

im not at windows computer so i cannot tell you exact message, but im wondering what i need to do to be able to mux only specific video, audio and subtitle.

it says someting that videofilename is not set? where should i set it?

and on 0.5.1 version theres tabs removed, that means that like only demux only mux etc is not possible in 0.5.1 or it is? if yes what should i do to enable those tabs to see?

You need to fill out all fields on output tab (except the optional video path).
Check View/Show advanced options - then you will see the only mux/only encode etc buttons on the start tab.

If you want to mux you will need a video file. This can be the reencoded one or the untouched. In every case you will need to 'Demux' as first step.

The latest mkvmerge is 4.4.0
Yours is v2.4.2
Try to update then muxing of hd audio will work.

@hawk yes figured that out yesterday. it muxed truehd, however i have stereo speakers and once muxed on mpc-hc while playing i dont hear any audio. is it because i dont have 7.1 speakers?

also on some blurays mkv files created by blurip when i move slider fast in mpc-hc i get garbage screen and my computer restart by itself. wondering if you guys had the same issue. or it happens because of CPU speed?

You will need the right decoder to play TrueHD sound. Maybe VLC can do this. But if you only have Stereo Speakers AC3 audio is more then enough.

Even a damaged mkv should not cause a reboot. Try to use another media player (vlc).
Garbage on sliding may occur depending on used video decoder.

If you hear NO sound (rather than just an odd channel mix), you need a TrueHD decoder. Download and install the latest build of ffdshow-tryouts. Open the audio config and make sure to enable TrueHD and AC3 decoding under "Codecs". You can also set up downmixing in the "Mixer" section.

FYI - I know it is for Blu, but it also works for Red (with some issues). I've alot of HD-DVD that I'm still on the fence on how to convert and I thought I'd try BluRip on these and as you can see from the pic, it will read the EVO but not all the tracks are recognised for some reason.

Can you send me the complete eac3to log? I'll update the string then.
BluRip also works for DVDs - only subtitle handling will need some improvements.

Yep, thanks. Which tracks are not recognized? Only the subtitle tracks?
