Troubles decrypting Transformers 2. Revenge of the fallen.

Hi everyone;
Is anyone else having trouble decrypting the new Transformers movie? I've tried a few programs but still not able to do it. Always comes up with a reading error? Can anyone help, please?

Hi!

Are you having this problem with both Disc1 and Disc2?

There's a new protection on this one.

So you'll need the latest AnyDVD beta or the perhaps latest DVDFab HD Decrypter beta for this one (it's not clear yet if this latest beta has been updated to fix this particular issue).

Sounds like you've somehow managed to purchase the DVD for a different region than your own - or previously mistakenly set your drive to a different region.

If the DVD is, in fact, for a different region than yours, simply return it i exchange for one for the correct region (Although it's hard to understand how/why your retailer would be selling an out of region DVD)...

I have checked the region code and it's the correct one. I have also updated to the newest dvdfab and anydvd and still haven't got anywhere. Any other suggestions anyone? Please.

Typically, with a new copy protection scheme (If that's what this is), a new version of DVDFabHD Decrypter (FREEWARE) that will successfully rip the DVD is released eitheer the same day or the next.

So, just be a little patient...

Had problems with this also on DVDFab 6.0.4.0. Downloaded and installed 6.0.7.0. which was built on 9/18/09. Had the same problem, "Error While Reading." I'm sure a new version will be out soon and will post if it works.

just go to do main movie but you have to find the right chapter that has the movie in the right sequence

Got it!

I hear this works also with ver 6.0.7.0, but I used the latest beta ver 6.1.1.8
Boot dvdfab and go into settings and then disable pathplayer.
Put the disc in and select main movie.
Find & select Title 47. MUST BE 47!
When you get errors, click "ignore all" and keep ignoring them.
Eventually, you'll get the "Next" button. Click it.
You may even get errors after it's finished & the disc ejects.

It works!

I find it interesting/disappointing that "this late in the game", Paramount is trying what appears to be yet another implementation of "XProtect" copy protection...

The latest AnyDVD (since 6.5.9.4, current is 6.5.9.5) should be handling this disc fine, though I've heard that a bunch of those discs have a bad pressing. That makes it hard to tell protection issues from manufacturing faults.

Or you simply use AnyDVD (WORTHEVERYPENNYWARE) that will successfully rip this DVD right away

Anyway folks, I wanted to add that this disc may require setting the correct drive region for now.
