But code/features looks like 80s/90s: no 64bit, no multi-threading, no more than 8bit colorspaces. And every time you try to go against any of that, you will get smashed by poor support, poor interoperability and a plethora of bugs/crashes.
Btw, neither I have anything against avisynth.
