If you love overkill, you could show four different aspect error variants calculated with the respective PAR:
* generic,
* MPEG-4,
* digital ITU (the values from Jukka Aho’s site),
* analog ITU (taking into account that the first and last analog lines are only half lines = half height).
Oh, and a fifth one for NTSC, calculated with a width of 711 pixels instead of 710.85. And if that’s still not enough, let’s discuss what “generic PAR” actually means.
