OK giving Reclock another go!
repeat frame with reclock goes from hours to seconds/minutes although i dont see the dropped frame counter moving which is weird
As informed by Nev everything now works ok with hmdi set to 2ch in playback config setting
will see how this pans out

off subject i know but any idea why TMT only outputs 2ch into Reclock? only setting where i get sound is with mix to uncompressed audio?

answering my own question TMT only sees what hdmi is set to 2o that explains why its 2ch. pity as it works well and smooth,. only way to get 5.1 without changing the hdmi setting is to use onboard sound card. works but stutters. damn are all these thing designed for it not to work?
