Converting a Dolby Digital WAV into standard AC3 file
I am getting a difference of 6 seconds playback time when using besplit to convert a wave file recorded from my cable box in dolby digital to an .ac3 file. The Dolby Digital Bitstream is intact, even though AC3Tools reports some errors. My problem is that the video gets out of sync with the audio when rendering in Encore. The video is 1080i 59.97 HDMI capture that I convert to 1080p at 23.97 in After Effects. Is there another program besides besplit that does what besplit does?
Thanks in advance,
Chris
