It’s worth noting here that DRM literally, mathematically, doesn’t work — it’s the trusted client problem. Your whole threat model is to declare your own user the enemy. As Wikipedia puts it:

As computer security specialist Bruce Schneier states, “Against the average user, anything works; there’s no need for complex security software. Against the skilled attacker, on the other hand, nothing works.”
