Thx for the replies, I found out that the hub that I connected to my usb 2, targus brand actually changed my usb 2 back to 1.1 and so the burning was taking a long time.
I have not tried another since I went back to the store and they tried it out on one of their computers.

I will have to research the programs recommended and see if they will work for me.

I would like to use Nero b/c I already have it.
Is Nero not a consistent program, or what is the exact nature of the problem for d/l burning/
