For best AC3, E-AC3 and AAC decoding you need:
(1) Nero 7 (Nero 8 won't work!)
(2) Nero HD DVD / Blu-Ray plugin

Is that still accurate or is libavcodec on par now?

-mixlfe            mix LFE in (when doing stereo downmixing, see "down2")

Should say downStereo instead of down2.
