I read the thread about vc1conv and tried this programm but that just made the fps to 23.973 but the 1080i stays(I already can do this with tsmuxer). Sorry if these are noob questins but I am really new to this whole stuff. I just want to convert my HDDVDs to Blu ray the most easiest way with 1080p picture and completly audio sync. By the way the audio isn't the problem.
you miss the whole idea! no matter, how programme calls video stream "i" or "p". if it's been coded progressive, it remains such regardless to 3:2 pulldown flags. the flags are just flags. movies transferred from celluloid always have progressive structure. videos from cameras are interlaced.
