I change my system usually every three years and I'm sure that in the next few months we'll have:

1) M/Bs with Thunderbolt

2) OpenGL 4.x drivers

3) Hyper-V supporting VT-d.

I don't know for sure if I'll wait for Ivy or for Haswell.

I'm good enough with Core2Duo right now.
