BeSweet error with VDub FS>Link2>DVD2SVCD

I'm using DVD2SVCD 1.0.9 build 3 in the avi2svcd mode. I'm frameserving from VirtualDub to link2 to SVCD.

When I first select the AVI created by Link2 for conversion DVD2SVCD gives me this message "original framerate not supported 29.969, will be adjusted". I do not receive this message when opening the source AVI directly from DVD2SVCD.

If I open BeSweet during transcoding it appears to be transcoding very slowly and it occasional displays this message "not scaled properly".

The extracted WAV file plays correctly, the encoded MP2 has no sound, same for the muxed.mpg, no sound.

This has worked for me in the past so I started going backward and finally had success with DVD2SVCD 1.0.7 build 1. This uses BeSweet 1.2b6. I receive the same initial warning about improper framerate but according to the audio log no audio framerate adjustment is made. I tried using BeSweet 1.2b6 with DVD2SVCD 1.0.9 b3 but had the same problem as when using BeSweet's latest release.

Here are the audio logs:

The main difference that I see is the frame rate adjustment in the newer version and Floating-Point Process yes in the new version only, I assume that's related to the framerate adjustment.

When I have time I'll do a longer conversion with the old DVD2SVCD to see if there's any problem with audio/video sync.

After all that I finally have a question. Is there any way for me to manually keep DVD2SVCD from sending a framerate adjustment request to BeSweet?

Thanks for any help.

P.S. I'll also bring this to the attention of Edwin, the Link2 man, maybe he can get the AVI from link2 to show the right framerate to DVD2SVCD.
