Ladies and gents, we have our first official spec. While I haven't been looking, it seems like ITU-T ratified the HEVC format as
ITU-T H.265 (04/2013) about a week ago.
As the ISO/IEC FDIS ballot takes two months, that will probably take until the latter half of May to finish
