If you want something simpler, and less likely to also be copied, place a comment in the "Provider ID" field. This is not easy with IfoEdit, but other hex editors allow you to enter ascii characters. The field is at offset 0x40 (64 dec) for 32 characters.
note: DVDShrink allows you to set this when doing a backup.

You could also place a simple text file created with notepad (or your favorite text editor) in the root directory of the DVD.
