Taktaal, great guide, can you add in these possible steps:

DD+ ==> LPCM

EAC3to

LPCM ==> DTS (if you have a DD+ track or an LPCM track - e.g. Blu-ray - then DTS is much much better quality than DD :-)

SurCode (commercial)

AVC / MPEG-2 ==> VC-1

Windows Media Encoder
