it's not working that way
you'll be able to save presets in ffdshow and use then in avs (with tweaking of the settings).
I wonder, btw, how subrip itself plays the video. Does it use Directshow for that? Cause if it does then implementing ffdshow in the processing chain will be pretty straightforward.
