How about creating a 3D profile for media player (which uses madVR) application ?

Set it to "performance" + "VSync ON", and disable all other AA / texture filtering options, etc...

The recent nVidia GPU driver since 304.xx adaptively controls the GPU's frequency depending on measured loading. The driver does not 100% honor the OS power management settings any more. This behavior is described in the driver's release note.


To be honest, I cannot tell the difference between Lanczos3_AR and Jinc3_AR on 1280x720 anime content with 1920x1080 10-bit output signal to Sony 65HX920. (with super-resolution 50% , SBR on)
