Anyway WMP (ver 9) says that it doesn't recognize the file extension but might play it anyway which it does. I did an open with using "media player" (which I assume is classic media player) and it says "cannot determine device type from the given filename extension".
Nero Showtime plays it too.

It's this file (which is located in the working folder "WORKFILES"):

That's the one your log references in the error message. If it is good it should play back the audio (only).
Media Player Classic is included with BD Rebuilder. You can find it in the BD-RB folder under "TOOLS\MPC"
