Note that Purevideo HD != VP2:

The table you mentioned is somewhat incomplete for checking VP2 availability since it doesn't separate between different GeForce 8800 models, some of which do have VP2. The Wikipedia article lists these and also some of the GPUs that have VP3, i.e. full hardware decoding of VC-1 streams (not that it matters much since DGVC1DecNV works fine with VP2).
