I have captured to Mjpeg and Huffyuv and then encoded it to what I want. But capturing using iuVCR and the filter works so good there is no need really.

Please do not in no way think this is perfect or best.... cause if thats what a person wants then by all means capture using Huffyuv or PicVideo's Mjpeg and then encode it to what you want. Most people with cable TV need to do this anyway so they can use certain filters because of noise in the TV stations.
